St Michaels Good Neighbour Scheme – Tel: 07393 492467

We aim to support the community of St Michaels by getting together a group of volunteers to help people with a specific need.

The service is free and the volunteer’s services and time are free but if expenses are incurred a donation will be requested.

The scheme is not intended to replace carers and volunteers are not able to provide personal care.

How can St Michaels Good Neighbour Scheme help you?

Essentially, by doing things a good neighbour does! The scheme might help by:

  • Lifts into Tenbury town, Leominster and Ludlow train stations
  • Collecting prescriptions and library books
  • Shopping and running errands

Who can benefit from this scheme?

Our volunteers are happy to assist anyone who needs help and lives in the parish of St Michaels. You may be:

  • unwell
  • elderly, isolated or vulnerable
  • a family or a single parent
  • a carer
  • simply without a car

How to request help?

Just contact us on Tel: 07393 492467 and leave a message. One of the scheme co-ordinators will call you back.

Who are the volunteers?

Volunteers are local people who are prepared to give up their time to help people in the parish of St Michaels. You may already know them.
